Fidos For Freedom has increased the quality of life for people living in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Community through the use of specially trained hearing assistance dogs for people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing; service dogs for people with mobilty impairments; and therapy dogs that visit schools, civic groups, healthcare facilities, and many community events with their volunteer handlers.
