U.S. Jow Ga Martial Arts is a school that promotes Jow Ga Kung Fu in the lineage of Derek Johnson.
Kung Fu is a thinking man's art intended to inspire a higher level of thought. That spirit is the foundation of the art we train. This school's doctrine centers on the concept of learning truth for yourself, then refining that truth in to character. We encourage doubt, questioning and self-discovery. Within "learning" the martial arts, there is enlightenment that comes from analytical discovery through meditation on the concepts that encompass the training as a whole. The character that is revealed in the training hall earned the title of Yun Yee Tong 仁義堂 (kind and righteous hall).

Great family atmosphere. Intense workouts with emphasis on working at your own pace. Great for people of all ages, and martial arts experience. Very informative and fun!

You will not find any other school like it. You come for the workout, the training, the martial art and you end up staying for the family, culture and kung fu! Three amazing Sifu's and an even more amazing Si Gung. The only way to know what we feel is to stop in and try it out! You have nothing to lose (except for your ability to properly use your legs the following few days after)!

Hands down the best martial arts school in Maryland, great instructors and a family atmosphere. This is real Kung Fu training and you will discover who you really are. It’s the best workout you’ll ever have and learn to defend yourself too. The low monthly tuition makes it a great deal. There are no belts so no belt fees or testing fees, just real kung fu.

This school is very welcoming, enjoyable, and hard! The workouts are crazy, but you have great people cheering you along and making you feel a part of the fun.
